Fukushima

Fukushima

Fukushima
Just a day, like any other, when the world seemed indestructible,
But this fine balance is one step away from chaos
*The sea is burning, radiation fills the air*
And man will learn from this day that he is not the master of the world,
But a servant who must always treat his master with respect
As the master can, at any time, unleash the power of the universe
As the world is worrying a proud nation fights despair.

In Fukushima, many thousands flee,

But 50 heroes hear a nation’s plea.

The lives of many depend on so few.

As you face your fear and go so near nuclear disaster.

You inspire us all and really fill our hearts with awe

You make a sacrifice for the good of all.

A brotherhood of man, 50 heroes from Japan

Who accept their noble fate as we can only wait.

You fight for our future yet you risk your own

You’re lonely mission, to contain the danger zone.

Though you’re afraid, you put on your suit and mask

And there’s no need to ask for you try to be a Samurai for the human race.

You inspire us all and really fill our hearts with awe

And make this sacrifice for the good of all.

A brotherhood of man, 50 heroes from Japan

Who accept their noble fate as we can only wait.

We get a second chance cause you aren’t afraid to die

The world watches with bated breath as brave men risk death.
Fukushima heroes fight like Samurai
The Samurai
March eleventh, twenty eleven, the day the wave came and shattered my heaven
It was hell on earth as I looked at the plant and smoke rose, only God knows,
Then I heard a call to protect you all and stand tall
‘cos no greater love has man that to lay down his life for others
call, our call, instinct, retreat is unthinkable for the captain of the ship when the ship is unsinkable
samurai, soon to rectify, not to justify, I’m not an expert at this, pandemonium,
stop, stop, cesium, radium, strontium, quaternium, we all know when this started
but…
Radiation Generation say no!
Radiation Generation say no!
