About

Acoustic, Country, folk, rock, singer songwriter

Originating in the village of Aughnacloy, Co Tyrone, and now living in Belfast, Finn has made his mark on local music and further afield over the years playing in many bands including the pop band Tiberius Minnows and the rock band, Lazy. Highlights from those days include sharing stages with The Saw Doctors, The Pogues, Van Morrison, the Black Crowes, Thunder and Poison amongst many others.

In more recent times, Finn has returned to his childhood love for Country and Irish folk Music but his rock, blues, jazz and pop influences are never too far away. Finn’s first album called Barnyard’s Barndance was released in 2015 and was the last album produced and worked on by The late Mudd Wallace. “Get My Kicks” was the primary single for this album and gained extensive radio air play throughout Ireland, the UK and the US.

Finn’s second solo album, “Lucky for Some” is A more mature offering. It is being produced by Mudd’s protege, Chris Smith. Together, they are putting the finishing touches to this 13 track album and it will be ready for release in early September. As well as musical contributions by the Muddguards, Tyrone Haigney, Joe McCann, Vincent Black and Conor McKenna, the album features Pedal steel playing by Richard Nelson and some nifty drumming by The session drummer, Stephen Quinn.
