About

Originating in the village of Aughnacloy, Co Tyrone, and now living in Belfast, Finn has made his mark on local music and further afield over the years playing in many bands including the pop band Tiberius Minnows and the rock band, Lazy. Highlights from those days include sharing stages with The Saw Doctors, The Pogues, Van Morrison, the Black Crowes, Thunder and Poison amongst many others.
In more recent times, Finn has returned to his childhood love for Country and Irish folk Music but his rock, blues, jazz and pop influences are never too far away. Finn’s first solo album called Barnyard’s Barndance was released in 2015 and was the last album produced and worked on by The late Mudd Wallace. “Get My Kicks” was the primary single for this album and gained extensive radio air play throughout Ireland, the UK and the US. It was a fun album, not really meant to be taken too seriously.
In March 2021, Finn released his second album, “Where you once were.” This 13 track album is a more mature offering and was produced by Mudd’s protege, Chris Smith. As well as musical contributions by the Muddguards, Tyrone Haigney, Joe McCann, Vincent Black and Conor McKenna, the album features Pedal steel playing by Richard Nelson, Saxophone by Dave Howell, Keys by John McCullough, drums by Stephen Quinn, Fiddle playing by John Fitzpatrick and Backing vocals by Amanda Kirkpatrick.
