The Muddguards began as a group of session musicians in the late Mudd Wallace’s recording studio and in recent times have evolved into fun loving musicians who like to give their trad a twist. If the Muddgaurds aren’t backing Finn McGinn they  can be found out and about playing trad at sessions around the country.
